so this has been a little secret spot for the last few weeks … very serene … until last week when about 40 kids from the neighbouring village found me … looks like some new exploration this weekend!
so there were about 5 songs to pick from … a delightful combination of boyz II men, westlife and more of that … so I went for the classic … and did an amazing job just quietly

i would like to share some bottles of chilled vino followed by greek calamari salad with my gold coast girls, i would like to take a run along the beach, i would like to go for a swim with my puppy, i would like to go to the troubador for a wakeup call and some live tunes, i would like to eat indian and lassi’s in west end with brisveg peoples, i would like to drink a beer on tap, i would like to have a camping/surfing weekend in byron, i would like to order a soy flat white with marshmallows, i would like to ring most all of you, i would like to have people not look at me in the street, i would like to buy some new green havianas, i would like to have a banora bourbon (the only place where this can happen), i would like to play aunty katie and i would like to have my skin go wrinkly from too many hours in the ocean …
Well I have always been a phase girl … and the last few weeks have been no exception. The latest things getting me out of bed in the morning …

• the apple macintosh family – have finally organised myself, sorted some equipment and started the process of downloading

So Manychan (the main hostel and restaurant in town) has opened a “lounge bar” upstairs which is absolutely delightful! Cocktails now on offer and we have been workshopping some pina colada and caprihana (sp?) recipies … This is Suk – the lounge bar key waiter!

So this appears to be the month in which ALL stray mangy dogs and I mean ALL have decided to consummate their flirtatious relationships. Unfortunately word seems to have gotten around dog world that my steps are a particularly nice place to take part in this act … the dog sitting up on the verandah nearly eats me every time I walk outside!! Not the most appreciated early morning sight or welcome …
Doesn’t matter what happens in a day … a motorbike ride through landscapes like this can wash away anything
